lore dump time, i actually don't know anything about pokemon because when i was a kid i DESPERATELY wanted the approval of my older sister and she had onetime mentioned not liking pokemon so i made a point of not interacting with it at all. all the kids my age LOVED pokemon and i didn't really fit in with my friends sometimes because i didnt' like pokemon and they all did but little me thought it was worth it for her to like me (didn't even work lol).

squid games. the writing is bad, i'm sorry. it was boring. you knew exactly who was going to win from the start so watching was pointless (and everytime he "almost died" i just wondered how they were gonna get their beloved mc out of this situation). they payed no attention to the other contestants, we knew barely anything about them or their lives and thus we don't see them as actual People with Lives. it's dumb!! why couldn't we have spent equal amounts of time with each main contestant before the games started? why couldn't we have learned bout their lives? if we did, then losing those characters would've felt more impactful and, idk, there also could've been actual foreshadowing of 1 being the guy who ran the games (like, maybe the fact we never see HIS past but we see everyone elses? that could've helped!! would've been useful and nice!!!!! idk!!)

i HATE this question. so vague!! how can i pick? my favorite normal-domestic-animals are cats! my fave exotic pets are rats! my fave ocean animals are squids! my favorite not-really-animals-but-alive are either siphonphores or diatoms. my favorite land-wild-animals are.....uh..actaully i don't know that one.
